KIM APPLEBAUM

graduated from the Boces Cultural Arts Center, and was a Dance Performance and Education Major at Towson University.  She has studied with Christina Lynch Markham (Paul Taylor American Modern Dance), Anastasia Edery (Bolshoi Ballet), Amy Marshall, and Frank Hatchett to name a few.    Kim also trained at Broadway Dance Center, STEPS on Broadway, The Rockette Intensive, and the Amy Marshall Summer Intensive.  She studied at The NY Dancers Studio with Stacie Nelson, and has performed  with the studio's Professional Company The Dance Theatre Company at Dinner Theaters, Corporate Parties, Arts Festivals and Fundraisers including The Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation.  She has also performed in many Nutcrackers throughout Long Island, and has danced at Fright Night at Old Bethpage, and The Edgar Allen Poe Festival. 

Kim has taught Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Modern, Hip Hop and Ballroom in Schools and Dance Studios on Long Island, and is thrilled to be teaching once again at The NY Dancers Studio!
